Talking Tuscany Destination Weddings on Style Me Pretty

Some people love the canals of Venice, others cry for the dramatic cliffs on the Amalfi Coast. But when it comes to Italy, for us there’s no place more beautiful, diverse and perfect for a gathering than Tuscany. The rural triangle between Florence, Pisa and Rome is home to gorgeous acres of farmland, medieval-era hilltop towns laced with cobblestone alleys, and some of the country’s top wine producers. Not to mention the great selection of venues and hotels, from simple stone-walled villas that date back centuries to lavish estates owned by some of the top names in Italy. That’s why we were excitedLearn more

The Coolest Hotel in London

I love everything about London. The history, the shopping, the style — and of course, the hotels! One of my absolute favorites is Rosewood London, which opened to much fanfare in late 2013. From the outside, it looks very much a traditional English hotel, set in a circa-1914 building with stately iron gates marking the courtyard entrance. Inside, things get more interesting. I love the striped floor in the lobby, and the great collection of artwork and coffee table books make it feel more like a salon than a lobby. Design touches are everywhere, from the birdcages by the elevator to this hallway off theLearn more

Globetrotter: A Secret Greek Isle Perfect for a Low-Key Destination Wedding

With the dollar on the upswing against the Euro, there’s no better time to have a destination wedding abroad. Unique Luxury Destination Wedding Spot in Tuscany

We’re always on the lookout for unique destination wedding spots. So when we recently got the invitation to travel to Tuscany with David Beahm, we couldn’t pass it up! Not only is David one of the top event designers in the U.S., he is an old-school gentleman with exquisite taste. So when he said we needed to see a hotel, we knew it would be special! A hilltop town-turned-hotel, Monteverdi Tuscany is in Castiglioncello del Trinoro, near Chiusi. The Italian-American owners fell in love with the medieval-era town and started buying and renovating apartments. The result: A one-of-a-kind hotel spread throughout the town, home to approximately 10 full-time residents. As a guest,Learn more

Villa in Provence, France honeymoon
La Bergerie/Villas of Distinction

Villa Life: Provence is Calling

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love hotels — the service, the style, the ease never gets old, no many how many I visit. But since a recent trip with a group of dear pals, I’ve been dreaming about a different kind of stay: bringing my people to sprawling villa where we can laze by the pool and explore the area, then recap our adventures over long, relaxed dinners at the dining table. Which is why I’m drooling over La Bergerie, a six-bedroom estate in Provence near the Cote D’Azur. Check out this amazing foyer, and that’s justLearn more
